2024 Lexington Interfaith Choral Festival
On March 10, choral ensembles raised their voices together in the 15th Annual Lexington Interfaith Choral Festival hosted by Pilgrim Congregational Church. This year’s Festival featured over 100 singers participating from seven area churches, temples, and religious communities. This was the first festival concert in four years due to covid.
Participating this year were choirs and ensembles from the Church of Our Redeemer Episcopal, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, First Parish Unitarian Universalist, Hancock United Church of Christ, Pilgrim Congregational Church, Temple Emunah, and Temple Isaiah. This year’s festival encompassed music from a wide variety of traditions, from western classical to contemporary Jewish and many in between. Each community shared songs of their own choice, then all joined together as one massed choir.
Here below are some photos from the event. Click here to here the finale of the performance.
